Blogging Update

After all the changes that have happened in the search engines in the past year I am happy to say that the blogs I have created using the methods I teach in The Niche Blogger have not only kept going strong, many are doing better than ever!

This just proves that there is no quick, lazy way to wealth. It does take hard work and it is so important to build a blog with a lot of high quality ORIGINAL content.

Don’t get suckered in to auto-pilot websites where everything is done for you and you fill your site with PLR or recycled content. That wont work. You need to make sure what you add to your blogs is high quality and will actually attract a real fan base.

There is no way to sustainably get rich quick, even online. However, it is really possible to build a solid dependable passive income that will pay you dividends for years and years to come.

What is so great about creating and maintaining your own blogs for a living is the fact that you truly work for yourself. There is no chance of “getting laid off” due to the recession. You take full control over your own financial destiny. Plus, choosing your own topics and writing about things you are passionate about is a lot of fun!

As opposed to staring a franchise or opening a business offline there is very little costs involved with creating your own online empire. For example, through The Niche Blogger the only business related costs that are absolutely necessary are web hosting (approx $10 a month) and a domain name (approx $9 per year). No business loans needed, which is great because I am against going into any debt.

I feel so blessed that I am able to stay at home and homeschool my kids and have baby # 6 on the way. I have worked my butt off since 2007, but I have not missed out on quality time with my family and that means so much to me. I have always found it easier to work harder for myself than to work for someone else. I know that each hour I put in will pay me over and over again. I can take a day off when ever I need to and my income stays stable.

I wanted to write all this to let you know that niche blogging is still booming and it is NOT too late to get started. You CAN do this!

It’s so good to hear from you again. I was wondering if The Niche Blogger was still going or not. I learned so much from that course and have a number of successful websites as a result. Glad to hear you are doing well.

True enough there are no shortcut to success.

    Hard work pays.

Glad to see you are doing very well Amy :)

  3. Amy,

Congratulations on the coming new addition to your family! You are absolutely right. There is no quick and easy way to get rich, and it takes hard work.

I want to add one thing to that. It takes hard work working in and on your own business to truly get ahead. Working for a corporation will only get you to a certain financial level, and it could all be gone with a lay-off.

I’ve worked a minimum wage job recently to fill in some financial gaps, and I’ve never worked so hard in my life. It’s not just about how hard you work. It’s about what you’re working on as well. You can bust your behind for $7.25/hr (current min. wage) and I guarantee the only people who get ahead are your bosses and the business owner. So work hard and work smart in work that will benefit you.

    Hi Amy,
One good thing I learned from your Niche Blogger classes was to keep it clean and honest. No get rich overnight promotions.

I still go to the members site and re-read your steps and updates to keep my brain fresh and double check my site’s marketing steps.

The lifetime membership I bought from you was one of the best investments I have ever made to help me with internet marketing.

You might remember, I paid you in GOLD. I told you it would make a good investment, just as the lifetime membership has for me.

Take care, Happy Holidays to you and yours.

    Steve
