Just Reached 500 Hubs on Hubpages

I have been working very hard the past week on Hubpages and I am happy to announce that I am now at 500 hubs! That is 100 hubs completed over the past week.

I did however, move content from some under performing blogs that I got rid of over to there so I didn’t exactly write all of them new.

I decided that I am going to keep my top 50 blogs and move all the blog posts from the others over to Hubpages and Infobarrel for now. I have noticed that by doing this I have actually increased my adsense income.

Now for the top 50 blogs, they are doing amazing well so I am going to keep those and continue to add more and more content to them and try to have 100 or more posts on each of them.

I noticed my Adsense income from Hubpages has been increasing quite a bit. I made almost $10 yesterday alone. Granted, it was a pretty good day for it… but I am hoping these trends will continue to rise.

How Do You Decide Which Articles to Put on Hubpages and Which Ones to Put on Infobarrel?

Well… this is pretty easy. I put more product related articles on Hubpages because it has that built in Amazon and eBay modules which makes linking to them very easy.

For articles that are pure information based without any products, I usually put those on Info Barrel since there isn’t much to link to anyway.

If my keyword is already taken on Hubpages that automatically defaults me to putting it up on Infobarrel instead.

I am seeing my earnings increasing at both places and am excited to see what my Adsense, Amazon and eBay Partner Network earnings are from them at the end of the month. I will be posting an update at that time to let you know how my income is increasing.

Hi Amy, Congrats on hitting 500 hubs.
Just wondering, do you put all of your hubs under one account or do you have multiple hubpage accounts? Also, I am guessing since you are taking posts from blogs that you are doing away with, that you are not linking those hubs or articles on Info barrels to your blogs, just products?

@Jen – I have most of them under one account. I find it easier that way. The ones that don’t have any related blogs to link to just focus on earning from Adsense/Amazon/EPN and any affiliate links that go along with the topic.

Sorry to bother you again, but do you do much to promote your hubs? I only have a handful, but I find they get a lot of views in the first week and then that is it. Thanks!

I actually don’t do much promoting at all. Maybe a backlink from a social bookmarking site or so and that’s it.

    Amy,

Sorry but this question is not related to hubpages. Does Commission Junction have any monthly fee for affiliates? I signed up with them, had a sale for $30 thru. my website. This was about 4-5 months before. I login today and see that the balance is $5 only.

    Thanks for your help.

Are you having any problems with duplicate content issues from taking articles that you have already had published on your websites that you are discontinuing and then adding them to Hubpages or Infobarrel? I have a few sites that I have over 60 pages however get hardly any clicks to warrant having to pay for domain registration. This seems like a much better way to utilize the content.

Susan – Not that I know of.

Tammy – I have only had 2 articles show as duplicate on Hubpages, but even then there isn’t a problem. (I can still keep them on there and earn money). I have moved over tons of them from blogs to IB and HB without any issues.

I tried moving articles from ezine articles to IB ( and deleted them from EZA) but they were flagged as dupe content.
