Hubpages Update: I Now Have 400 Hubs!

I have been writing on Hubpages for about a year now and I am very happy to report that I have now published a grand total of 400 hubs during that time.

I have really gotten great results from the articles that I have submitted there. It has increased traffic to my blogs and I am doing fairly well with Adsense, eBay Partner Network and Amazon Associates through it on top of that.

I regret the fact that I have over 300 articles on EzineArticles. I would have been better off submitting them all to places like Hubpages and Infobarrel so I could make residual income.

I noticed that EzineArticles has Adsense ads plastered all over the articles there, they are making a killing without having to share the revenue with the writers. In fact, writers actually PAY money to put more articles there instead of getting paid. I used to think that was the way to go, but the internet is changing.

Your articles are worth more than random traffic click throughs. You deserve to have YOUR ads placed next to them when you do article marketing.

Now as far as Hubpages goes… I don’t use a resource box because they don’t allow them. I use the RSS feed for my blog and put it a hub I wrote in the same niche. That gives me backlinks to my latest 3 blog posts.

I am also really starting to like Infobarrel as well. I am seeing my earnings from them catching up with my Hubpages earnings pretty quickly. I will be doing another income update for them at the end of the month.

My next goal is to have 500 hubs up, I am confident I can do it by the end of this month. That should really help to boost up my passive income from there as well.

Long term, i’d like to have 1,000 hubs published by the end of the year. It took me a full year to get my first 400 so I really need to start ramping things up.

I am not adding new blogs to my portfolio, I have tons of them already. I am not focusing on the ones I have, adding in new content and marketing the heck out of them. This keeps things much more simple.

In fact, I have considered only keeping my top 50 performing blogs and pouring all my efforts into them so I can make all of them authority sites in their perspective markets. That way my marketing efforts can be more concentrated and wont get so diluted over the 120 blogs I currently have. I will keep you updated on this.

Overall, don’t focus so much on giving away your hard earned marketing articles for free. Try to earn as much side revenue as you can from them. Hubpages and Infobarrel are at the top of my list!

I am a member of hubpages. I was wondering what your name was on there. I would love to read some of your hubs.

    Thanks
