Infobarrel vs Hubpages Earnings Income Update
In June all my adsense earnings were down across the board. It was due to the google mayday update, but since then I have been working hard and my income is recovering over time.
As for Infobarrel, I have been spending a lot of time over there and am finally starting to see the results trickle in. Let’s look how things have been going this year at both Infobarrel and Hubpages.
You will see that my hubpages is quite a bit higher than it was last year, that is due to the aging of my hubs.
January 2010 - Hubpages: $51.12 Infobarrel: $30.85
February 2010 – Hubpages: $42.92 Infobarrel: $26.00
March 2010 – Hubpages: $66.43 Infobarrel: $26.23
April 2010 – Hubpages: $115.36 Infobarrel: $35.71
May 2010 – Hubpages: $132.74 Infobarrel: $35.87
June 2010 – Hubpages: $168.74 Infobarrel: $47.19
July as of the 27th – Hubpages: $92.82 Infobarrel: $74.00
With Info barrel I worked quite a bit on it last year and pretty much left it dormant from October 2009 until June of this year when I decided to get serious about it again. I saw that as soon as I started submitting articles there again my income started to really increase.
Even though I get more traffic on Hubpages, I think Info Barrel will catch up in rankings and i’ll end up getting quite a bit of traffic over time.
Overall, I highly recommend you write for both of them. Hubpages is a bit older and has higher rankings in the search engines so you will get more traffic with less articles, however that being said… they only give you 60% of the adsense revenue share while Info Barrel gives you 75%.
I really think that Infobarrel is still in its beginning stages and it will take off quite nicely in the next year. So get in at the ground floor and let your adsense income take off with it.
