HubPages Challenge Progress After 1 Month
I started my HubPages challenge 1 month ago and fell a little short of my goal. I had a goal to create 100 blogs in 30 days, but I only have 40 published hubs so far. I have 12 more hubs that are in progress but not yet ready to publish.
I got a little side tracked by building new niche blogs that I put HubPages on the back burner. I do plan to add HubPages to the marketing strategy for my blogs though so I will continue to keep adding more and more of them over time.
HubPages Income for the Past Month July 4, 2009 – August 4, 2009
Adsense - $8.31
Amazon – $0
eBay – $0
I am going to keep going with HubPages and continue to build during the Month of August I am pretty sure I will have reached my 100 hubs goal. Then I will see if that makes my HubPages income jump or not.
I would like to have at least a good $300 – $500 a month coming in from this little revenue stream. Plus, it gives me really nice backlinks to my niche blogs, which is a really nice plus.
Progress Overview

Thanks for updating us, Amy. Have you looked into InfoBarrel or Knol for extra backlinks and AdSense income streams? I’m still somewhat convinced I can make Knol work for me, although it doesn’t seem too popular at the moment.
Hi Amy. I think the stats will be up in another month. I have seen your work on other blog sites. It has been impressive to say the least. You have taught me to do more with less. And if I have more. I will to more with that as well. Thanks.
Hello Amy, I openly declared on Knol that I set up my Adsense Account so that all earnings could be donated to charities around the globe. When I think about the current world of economics what better a thing to do. We all do have to stand on our own two feet online or off and I’m adjusting what my values are by way of recognizing what can be done to alleviate suffering. We have many choices and tools available online in which we can build ourselves a reasonable income but in the overall scheme of the bigger picture, it isn’t just about us, it covers a wide range of other people who need to be supported over many years.
I am proud to stand up to be different, not better but helpful in the knowledge that we can make differences by simply trying. Even when times are better for all of us, can you imagine creating recurring income that would run virtually on autopilot and be paid directly to a charity or a group of charities without human intervention.
Is there a group who have already covered this and if not, why not?
In any event, I hope others might look at this concept and think a little deeper about donating their earnings (where possible) towards helping the poor.
Actually, you’re doing great for what you have accomplished so far! So congrats. I wish I could push myself to do the things that you do, but lately I’ve just been downright lazy.
I have been posting squidoo pages, however. So far I’ve earned a whopping 24cents. But, hey it’s better than nothing!!!!!
Keep up the outstanding work. You’re an inspiration!

Thanks for the info.I´m also a member of Hubpages and have 6 hubs so far.My adsense earnings are modest at the moment, but I am going to make more useful hubs just to see if my income will increase.
100 Hubs is my goal and I am going to achieve it by March 2010.
Let me just say, Google “Loves” Hubpages!
