Spring Cleaning My Life
April is the month of renewal and spring cleaning. I am not only doing this in my home, but also in my business, finances and other aspects of my life.
I have been working this month on moving all my eBay links from Commission Junction to the new eBay Partner Network. It has been very long and tedious, but I have been able to go through each site and optimize it and “spring clean” it a bit.
I am adding ClickBank Pro Ads to all my sites so I can easily promote Clickbank products without hand picking and writing the advertisements myself. I have already gotten several clickbank sales by using the ads and think it will help me boost my clickbank income considerably.
Yes, I am still keeping adsense as well, but this will lower my dependence on it. Plus, clickbank commissions are considerably higher.
I am working on stream lining my business and finding ways to optimize my websites and promotion strategies.
As far as the other aspects of my life, I am spring cleaning my diet and eliminating processed foods. Going on a diet of fruit, veggies, nuts, seeds and homemade whole grains. As you may have heard, I have been having some health problems and this is how I plan to get healthy.
I am coming out with my second, and last membership site this month - Homeschool Cash. I want to devote my time to my members so this and Raise A Leader are my only two. I do not want dozens of membership sites all over the place because that would make me lose focus.
I am not doing as many niche websites as I used to. Maybe 3-5 a month. The rest of the time I plan to focus on my two membership sites and creating awesome information products.
Progress Overview

Amy can you please advise me on one thing. Once I find a cool clickbank product and made a website for it, how do I get traffic to it and usually how many days before you recieve a sale? Do I just write articles backlinking it to my site? I can also use google adwords right?
James,
I use article marketing to drive traffic to my sites. You write a little advertisement for your site in the resource box of your article and make sure to link to your site. Yes you can use google adwords.
Hello Amy,
Speaking of article marketing and its effectiveness:
I know you have many niche sites now.(about 100+ if I’m not mistaken)
Do you see a trend in traffic kinda slowing down from article directories after the initial submissions?
Thanks,
Bridget
Hi Amy.I was wondering if their is a way to make a good monthly income off of affiliate marketing.I know you have been doing niche sites and have been making money off of them.DO you know of any good resources I could use to get started on doing afiliate marketing as well as doing niches to make a monthly income?HOw did you go about doing it?Thanks so much.
Carrie
Carrie, read her first post ever. Then you will leran.
I’m doing this too - my biggest project so far has been moving my blogs around. At first, I was using all free sites. This week I started my first blog on its own domain that actually combined two themes that I originally had separated into different blogs. It was way too confusing. Simplifying and paring down is a lot better because now I can focus.
Amy, which of your membership site is the best and what does each of your membership site focus on? and also is it too late to join?
Bruce,
they are each very different from each other. They are both still open to members.
Which one do I join if I want to learn affiliate marketing? And will I be able to catch up with other people already there?
I’d recommend www.HomeSchoolCash.com
I don’t understand the purpose of that site because I’m not a stayed home mom.
