I am Excited to Present to You….

My membership site!

I have spent a long time getting this all together. In fact, It has taken quite a few people to get this off the ground and done right and I am very grateful to all of them.

Now, this is not your average membership site. This is my life. This is my calling and my mission. In fact, I plan to get out of internet marketing all together and focus all my efforts on this alone as soon as I possiby can.
Why? Because this is more important than money to me. I truly feel this is one of the main reasons why I was born.

If it gets large enough, I actually plan to convert it into a non-profit organization and expand even more.

I have been jumping up and down waiting to finally release it and I am happy to say….

Now it is ready!

You can view the main page here.

The affiliates area is here. You will earn a 40% commission.

I also set up a blog for it here. That includes our mission statement.

I would be honored for you to be an affiliate and help me get the message out there. I truly feel inspired to do all I can to help bring values, character and liberty back to the United States.

To strengthen the family and to help raise a generation that will be able to take a stand.

Let me know if you have questions/comments, anything.

Looks great, Amy! I can really tell you put a lot of work into this project.

  2. Janice on February 20th, 2008

Looks good and fits right into my niche also.

What is the approximate age group you are targeting with this course. I know that I would hesitate to sign up for something like this if I didn’t at least know that piece of information.

Thanks so much for the great opportunity.

We have lessons for every age group. So it works perfectly for K-12. :)

Thanks. Actually I read through it again and again and I have a much better feel for it now.

Yea I was good up until the big bold CHRISTIAN part. Makes it seem like you look down on nonchristians? I have morals and no I don’t believe in “god”. I thought you were different which is why I liked your blog but now…

  6. admin on February 20th, 2008

I don’t look down on non-Christians, but it is a Christian based program. So, it is not for everyone. :)

  7. Sarah on February 20th, 2008

I was surprised at your website, it was not what I was expecting. Although it looks nice and well done. It is not for me.

  8. Hamida on February 21st, 2008

Wow, this is such a fantastic and unique idea. As a former primary (elementary) school teacher I know exactly what you’re saying about the way education is going. Is this program suitable worldwide though? Your sales letter made it sound targeted more towards American parents and children.

  9. admin on February 21st, 2008

If you could put up with me talking about the founding fathers (Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, etc…) then it can certainly be used worldwide. The ideas and values have no boundaries. :)

  10. mark on February 21st, 2008

Its funny that you say practically all great leaders were all bred from private education. Thomas Jefferson is attributed with founding the University of Virginia, a public school.

    Good sales copy.

  11. Andi on February 21st, 2008

Very interesting and GREAT concept. I really do like the idea of teaching leadership to our children. However, I do have some comments you can obviously take or leave.
1 - The sales letter is way too long. It reminds me of the get-rich-quick schemes that say a lot without saying much. I doubt that’s what you want, but my initial impression as I skimmed through the lengthy letter, is what is she trying to sell me.
2 - Typos really bug me too and I noticed a few. Let me know if you want to me to fully proof and let you know where they are so you can fix them.
3 - As someone working in the marketing world, you might also want to give us a bit more of a peek at what you are teaching. Like a sample activity, lesson plan, course outline, etc. Even a freebie overview course? perhaps?
4 - May be just my taste, but the scare tactic turned me off a bit.

Please don’t take all this as negative feedback. It’s intended to be helpful and constructive. I do think you have a great concept and idea, but I personally would like to see a bit more about what you are teaching before I sign up.

My 2 cents…take it or leave it, but regardless, Good Luck!

  12. Jackie on February 21st, 2008

Amy, good luck with your new site, it’s obvious you have a lot of passion for it :)

When you say you want to get out of internet marketing altogether, does this mean you’ll stop making niche websites or will this new site take up all your time?

I’m sure we’re all curious as to when you’ll update your January earnings and start on the February ones? :)

  13. rojo on February 21st, 2008

Erica have you not been following this very blog, it is Christian based so how can you expect anything different on Amy’s membership site. I don’t get that people can proudly declare their disbelief in God and openly criticize someone else for believing in God. Everyone is wired differently and if Amy is a Christian why should she tailor her beliefs to suit the non-believers, I know I wouldn’t. When did being a Christian become such a threat to others, when did it become so inconvenient, why do we delve on judging those who are true Christians. You thought Amy was “different” because she wasn’t a Christian? Let me tell you what makes Amy different: the fact that she claims her Christianity and makes it known to everyone instead of masking it like some menace to society like most people do. We don’t criticize your Atheism so don’t criticize our Christianity.

  14. Tracy on February 21st, 2008

Wishing you all the best with your new venture Amy!

I’m also wondering when you will be updating your earnings for January and February. It’s such an inspiration to read!

  15. Juice on February 21st, 2008

That word CHRISTIAN can be offensive to non-chrisstian parents… You have to imply or state it’s a christian program and NOT for christians only..

You will loose some potential customers if you don’t balance your demographics…

  16. admin on February 21st, 2008

I don’t understand Juice. I don’t have anywhere on my sales letter that says “Christians Only”.

It is a Christian Classical Education and Leadership program. Plain and simple. I don’t know how else to state that than what it is.

I am not too worried about losing sales. I would rather a person know this by the sales letter and not buy than to be led thinking it was a non-religious program and be upset that they bought it.

If the word “Christian” offends you… I don’t know what to say. I will not take it down.

  17. Kelly on February 22nd, 2008

Looks brilliant. Am put off by the religious aspects, but that’s a personal thing, I don’t let that get in the way of me seeing that this is a fantastic, amazingly executed concept. Overall, it’s one of your best designed sites (of all your sites that I have seen) and I think you could very well be on the brink of redefining non-traditional methods of education not only with this approach but with the content of your leadership program, as well. I wish you the best of luck with this, and have passed your link on to some family members & friends who I think would benefit from this.

  18. Krystal on February 22nd, 2008

Hi Amy-Ever since I read the new membership site, thinking about signing up for it has not left my mind. I was wondering though, is this Bible based curriculum, and also, what is the exact “religion” that it is founded on? You say Christianity, but there are many parts to Christianity-Mormonism, Latter Day Saints, etc.. Is this non-denominational, and is it Bible based only? It is great to see you pursuing something that you are so passionate about. Thanks again!

  19. admin on February 22nd, 2008

Hi Krystal, It is non-denominational bible based. :)

Kelly, Thank you for your kind words. :)

  20. PotPieGirl on February 22nd, 2008

Amy has developed a *niche* product. If it appealed to EVERYONE, it certainly would not be a ‘niche’ product, now would it? If you are a parent that chooses to raise their child without strong religious undertones, then this product would not be something you are interested in. There is nothing wrong or offensive about that.

However, if you are a parent who wishes to enhance their childs education with a supplemental program that is Christian-based, I imagine you would be thrilled to find Amy’s site.

Amy is targeting a specific niche - NOT trying to offend anyone. Best part is, she is targeting a group of people that feel *just like she does*. Being able to put your passion to work is a dream job =)

Congrats, Amy - well done! I will be watching this closely.

  21. Joe on February 22nd, 2008

LOL. All she had to to make everyone happy would be a politically correct website about the great Muslim religion or the poor freedom fighters known as Al Quida.

No one would dare say anything bad about that.

But put up something about Christianity and all hell breaks loose with the losers who hate this country and the fact that it is a Christian nation.

  22. cay cole on February 22nd, 2008

I’m a fan of Amy’s work to date on debt reduction. Of course, she has every right to produce any niche she desires. What distresses me about this sales letter is there are absolutely no visual or written references to any female American leaders of any kind. Very sad to see such one-sided marketing in this day and age. There are many great examples to draw from, Amy. If you need suggestions, please let me know. American girls deserve better than to be shown only male role models to emulate.

  23. Mufasasmommy on February 22nd, 2008

I like it. My son is out of school, so I won’t be participating, but I think it’s well done. The Christian aspect is a plus for me at this stage in my life.

The only thing that bothered me was the very last line. It reminded me of when I was a kid and how my mother would cry (and she’s a strong woman, it’s just her Achilles’ heel ) at commercials that implied that she valued her children less than some other mothers because she couldn’t or didn’t spend money on something. It’s what I call the ‘choosy mom’s choose Jif’ effect. That silly one always seemed to bother her the most. Remember no matter how low the cost, there will be some very loving parents out there that just cannot do it. That last line seems a little like a jab to me.

Overall though I think it’s a great concept and I hope it does all you hope for.

  24. admin on February 22nd, 2008

These are some great ideas. I am going to be working on the sales letter a bit more and will incorporate some of the suggestions. :)

  25. ScamHunter on February 22nd, 2008

At the risk of being told that I had read either the sales letter too quickly or the comments above, I wasn’t sure if this was appropriate for all age groups or not. Also, can this be used to supplement public/private/home-schooling? or only some of those?

I thought the sample lesson or outline idea was good and the point about you needing some female leaders.

Good luck with this, Amy and yes, follow your passion. This isn’t for me, but as PotPieGirl said, it wouldn’t be a niche, if it was for everyone.

I’m interested to see how you balance this and your other endeavors. I see you and I both chasing in many different directions. Niche websites, a primary passion, in your case the internet marketing coaching, etc… I know I personally worry about getting spread too thin and am struggling with how to balance that.

  26. admin on February 22nd, 2008

There is a link to a free sample lesson on the sales page. Yes it is for all ages. :)

This is actually going to be my main focus once it starts picking up momentum. :)

  27. JW Thornhill on February 22nd, 2008

This is a great membership site.

    Its definitely your calling. :)

  28. admin on February 22nd, 2008

Thanks to the advice from some of you I have changed it from:

    “Revolutionary Classical Christian Education”

    to

    “Revolutionary Classical Christian-Based Leadership Program”

Which I think defines it much better and is much more clear on exactly what it is as the focus is on leadership as opposed to an entire education (math, science, etc… which we don’t provide).

  29. ellyn on February 23rd, 2008

I’ve read your sales letter and your sample lesson. I must say that the sample lesson presented seemed a bit too simplisitic for the age group you indicated. If the ice cream/toppings lesson is a fair representation of the other lessons, I don’t know if that warrants your monthly membership fee. Of course, only my opinion.
As to your sales letter…you state the following: “But the sad thing is as a parent you probably went through the public system yourself. Chances are that you’ll probably just re-teach the mindset you were taught… even though you just want to help. That’s why the best way is for you to leave it to the experts. My team and I have spent hundreds of hours researching, testing and helping hundreds of parents.”
You state elsewhere in the sales letter that you yourself was educated in a public school, as well as being homeschooled. Who are these so-called “experts” that are a part of your team? I think I would like to see some credentials listed on the sales page before I fork over any money.

  30. admin on February 23rd, 2008

Each month delivers 22 lessons all very different from each other as they teach different concepts.

I chose one of our easiest lessons because I want to show people that it is not difficult to teach these to your children.

One of my team members has a masters degree in English and Education.

Another one of my team members has spent many years as a kindergarten teacher.

I have an avid homeschooler on my team as well, she has homeschooled for the past 20 years.

I also have a history buff on my team who is like a walking encyclopedia and does a ton of research for me and keeps me accurate. ;)

I think I will work on a FAQ page today and add a link to it on the sales page.

  32. Family Man on February 25th, 2008

Wow, the reposes to this seem to run the gamit. I think the site looks great for the niche market. I guess many people don’t subscribe to the “if you have nothing nice to say” thought process. I think a lot of work went into it, and it looks good.

  33. erin on February 25th, 2008

    Geeze…some of these comments.pitiful.

    Amy-
I have followed you from the beginning and I think you are heading in a GREAT direction. To do something that you love and are passionate about is the best reward ever. You are a super hard worker and I know you will do well. I really feel that God will reward you if this is your calling.

It is unfortunate that you get uncalled for negative comments about the christian thing, but many a christian has had to perservere through that kind of stuff.
You createrd a NICHE membership site in a NICHE market and obviously it is not for everyone. I mean, its obviously not for people with school age kids either! :-)
I think it looks great and will only get better. Good luck!!

  34. erin on February 25th, 2008

Soory about my above typos..I am 8 months preggo and exhausted.

I obvioulsy meant to say in the last paragraph that “it is obviously not for people with NO school age kids either” :-)

  35. ScamHunter on February 25th, 2008

What the hell (pardon my language) is FEUERFREI’s problem? Racist?? where did he get that from??

  36. cay cole on February 25th, 2008

Maybe s/he noticed that none of the people mentioned or pictured in the letter are anything but white? Who knows. Regardless of that, Amy doesn’t deserve that kind of attack. She’s done a lot to help others and it’s great to see her business models change and grow.

  37. Weight Loss Guy on February 26th, 2008

Please don’t give any more credence to that imbecile above. It is shameful that people must apologize for their religion ONLY if they happen to be Christian. The left in this country are really out of control. The liberals I know now extol the virtues of free speech only when you are agreeing with them. Anyway, nice site and concept. I agree with one poster about the length of sales copy and the time pressure tactic. BTW, I love the monthly earnings updates, please take a moment to update them as they are inspirational and I stop by every now and then to see them.

    WLG

  38. phluffie on February 27th, 2008

Now Weight Loss Guy, you just did the same thing the imbecile did…you lumped people into one category. I am part of that left, believe in free speech for all and am a devout Christian who is tired of having to defend myself also. But I don’t believe that being a Republican gives anyone any “high moral ground”. It’s not the “left” that’s out of control in this country…its just idiots in general. And unfortunately, they come from the left, the right, center, front, back and from under the couch cushios. =)

I think Amy’s idea is awesome and would surely take advantage of it myself, but my children are grown. Am forwarding it to my daughter to introduce to the parents in her Sunday School class.

Nice to have found a calling Amy, that website will likely never feel like work. Congratulations!!!

  39. admin on February 27th, 2008

Thanks everyone. I am not a democrat, nor am I a republican. I am an independent and do not vote for the party, but for the person.

  40. Robert Tutsky on February 27th, 2008

    Hi Amy,
I think what you are doing with your new membership site is truly commendable. I being a Christian can understand all of the negativity that Christians receive, after all, we were told a long time ago that it would be so from those that don’t believe in Christ and what he taught. I look at my belief like a wager… if my belief in Christ is wrong I’ve lost nothing… but if my belief is correct, I gain everything!

But back to your site. I don’t think that your sales letter is too long and knowing you through your blog, I know you’ll tweak it into perfection. Beginnings are exciting and your passion with this endeavor will certainly grow into something spectacular for all of your participants.

BTW, I want to affiliate with your program and help it grow but I went through your sign-up process and have not yet received any login info for hours.

Is it just too early to sign up or you don’t have everything in place yet?

    Let me know. Thanks.

  41. admin on February 27th, 2008

    Robert,
There is no log-in required to be an affiliate. If you signed up for the membership itself, you chose the user name and log in before your enrolled. :) Yes you can certainly sign up any time.

  42. Joe on February 28th, 2008

phluffie you are way off. Weight Loss Guy is right on. The liberals are so rediculously out of control. Being a liberals MEANS that you stand for most everything that is against Christianity.
It means you want to change this country into something it is not. It means that you are pro abortion, pro government, pro gay marriage, pro all the stupid social programs, and pro taking money from those who earn it and giving it to those that don’t. Liberals are truly pathetic.

  43. Phlufffie on February 28th, 2008

Wow…a personal attack, thank you so very much for clarifying what it is that I believe in, I was completely confused on that…thanks.

I don’t assume that all people on the right believe EVERYTHING that the most extreme people on the right believe in…please don’t presume to tell me what I believe in or that I am pathetic. You don’t know me, don’t know what I support, what causes I fund or how I give my time. That is a wide reaching, insulting comment when one was not deserved.

This is not a place to attack, this is a place to comment on Amy’s work. I did not attack Weight Loss Guy or tell him that he was pathetic, I just pointed out that not everyone can be painted with the same brush stroke.

  44. rojo on February 28th, 2008

    Phlufffie,

FYI your recent post just gave me goose bumps!!!

    Very well said.

  45. admin on February 28th, 2008

There is no need to fight, I believe that if we stand up for truth and liberty then we are doing our part.

  46. Weight Loss Guy on March 1st, 2008

Wow, funny stuff guys. I think we went a little off topic. I really have to say it again, though. Religion is under attack by the liberal left and their backers, the media at large. Anyone who expresses faith is ridiculed or condemned. And I never said I was Republican or Democrat for that matter. The same people who made fun of our President for expressing accountability to a higher power had nothing but praise for a contrite Clinton coming out of church expressing his faith after being in a sordid affair. Let’s call a hypocrite a hypocrite and realize that liberals don’t have a monopoly on morals, case in point the latest New York Times debacle. Hey Amy, still looking for those updated Feb. totals. Thanks.

    WLG

  47. Weight Loss Guy on March 2nd, 2008

Oh, and BTW, I did not do what the imbecile did above. I did not lump everyone into one category. When the left advocate certain ideals and rabidly go after people who don’t agree with them, I can say that without having to expressly say “oh, I did not mean every single person who has a leaning toward the left” to make my point. I thought that was understood so as not to make normal parlance excessively wordy with clarifications and advance apologies to those who might take offense, etc., etc.

  48. Ian Scott on March 3rd, 2008

    Boy, an interesting comment thread!

Let me say a few things if I may… and if they are not welcome, then by all means, delete the comment :)

First, I really enjoy this blog - I’ve learned some things and it has motivated me to think of some creative things for some of my own projects. On that note, thank you!

On a political note, hopefully folk will not confuse true “liberalism” for what is defined today as “liberalism.” Classical liberalism is that which was put forth by great thinkers like John Locke, Voltaire, Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson - some who held religious points of view and some who were atheists or Deists.

True liberalism is that which promotes liberty for all regardless of religious belief. I presently live in Canada, and it was the “Liberals” that most of the Protestant faith voted for - the party that at the time, promoted liberty and tolerance.

I also grew up in a Christian (Classically so.. evangelical reformed) but through my own studies have chosen a different route - and my morals and ethics are comparable to any “Christian’s.” My morals are based on inherent rights, which you can find out about a bit more if you read 1 Samuel 8:10-18. God certainly didn’t appear to want his chosen people to have some sort of government over them.

Anyhow, folk who talk about liberalism and conservatism might really want to do a bit of research - and find out about where today’s ideas of liberty and freedom originate. Hint: Read some John Locke and Thomas Paine.

On another note, I also as a parent am interested in home schooling material - even though I’m do not consider myself a “Christian,” I am dismayed at the public school system and have a five year old that if I were to put him into the public school system, would likely set him back!

And although he doesn’t have nightmares about places called “Hell” - he does know right from wrong, based on “inherent rights.” And he knows the value of being truthful. Indeed, he IS truthful, and always has been, and the concept of lying or “sinning” simply seems to have never occurred to him!

    Respectfully,

    Ian Scott

  49. Ian Scott on March 3rd, 2008

    Ooops.. this:

“True liberalism is that which promotes liberty for all regardless of religious belief. I presently live in Canada, and it was the “Liberals” that most of the Protestant faith voted for - the party that at the time, promoted liberty and tolerance.”

    Shoud be this:

“True liberalism is that which promotes liberty for all regardless of religious belief. I presently live in Canada, and it was the “Liberals” A CENTURY AGO that most of the Protestant faith voted for - the party that at the time, promoted liberty and tolerance.”

  55. daisy on March 7th, 2008

  56. daisy on March 10th, 2008

Why does everyone get a reply back lately, except me? :(

  57. rojo on March 10th, 2008

No worries Daisy, I noticed that Amy hasn’t answered others question regarding updating her current earnings, which probably means she may very well discontinue with the updates if she hasn’t already.

Though because of the high demand for the monthly updates I think Amy should consider doing it until the end of May that way she would have kept us all updated for a full year and can cease it after that. Amy’s into to much bigger things now so I think it isn’t her priority anymore but nevertheless I still think she should finish what she started with her dedicated visitors. We can’t know her earnings forever but to have it a few more months I think your visitors would be very grateful Amy.
