I couldn’t agree with you more. I saw several posts on Internet Marketing Forums about the great affiliate commissions people were earning from credit card company referrals. But you and I both know the ill-affects that credit cards can wreak. I’d no sooner advertise them, then I would sell crack (if it were legal). They both can take over people’s lives.

I truly believe that the moral high ground pays a reward in this lifetime as well as the after life. Sayings such as:

What goes around, comes around.

You reap what you sow.

His Karma caught up with him.

Are repeated because people believe they have observed this phenomenon.

While people can sometimes seem to profit and not suffer any ill-effects from compromising their morals, I truly believe that in the end, it always catches up with them.

Here’s to your success and all the good Karma you are creating.

Great post. I hate it when people lie, scam, cheat and steal trying to make a buck. There are totally honest ways to make money online there is no reason to resort to low down methods. People forget there are more important things in life than money.

Very timely and inspirational post, Amy. The gospel today was about children and here in Cebu, Philippines, it is also the feast day of Sto. Niño (the baby Jesus). It does remind me that we are only internet marketers for a short time, but citizens of heaven for eternity.

I don’t like to market or sell things that I am not familiar with, haven’t reaserched and found to be something helpful. In addition I have gotten some luctative Ad offers on another site, which I had to pass up, becuae I I truly don’t belive in it, I couldn’t look my kids in the face. Supporting you family is one thing selling them out is another.

Yes, I do affiliate marketing as well and I won’t promote a product or service I don’t use, haven’t read, or don’t think is at least a good idea. I stand by the things I promote. I think if you have conviction and are dedicated to what you do, you’ll have more lasting success.

Timely post, Amy. As Frugal Dad has gotten off the ground I have seen an increase in the number of predatory lenders seeking ad space. I just refuse to put that garbage on my website – even if the money could be put to good use.
