Thinking about New Years Resolutions
It is not very long until Christmas and of course the end of 2007. Now is the time to start thinking about those New Years Resolutions. On my list I have:
1. Build my income up to six figures by July.
2. Lose my pregnancy weight. Yes, he is already 5 month old now, but a lot of the baby fat still lingers with me.
3. Eat healthier and actually start exercising.
4. Get out of DEBT!
On the not so good note, this week we discovered that our almost 3 year old is autistic. It is partially why I haven’t been posting on my blog much, I have been feeling a bit emotional.
I now know that I need to kick things into gear so I can get out of debt and have enough passive income coming in to be able to spend more time devoted to him and his needs. That is my ultimate goal for 2008.

Progress Overview

Amy, I am so sorry to hear about your son’s diagnosis. I have no doubt that you will achieve your financial goals and be able to more time with him. I have a son diagnosed with asperger’s syndrome (a high functioning form of autism). I have been incredibly blessed to be able to work at home so I can be here with him.
God bless you and your family. You are all in my prayers.
Hey Amy,

Amy, care and devote him, but don’t forget the others and yourself. It’s an easy fault to make…
Amy, I feel for you and the worry you most be going through. Sometimes it is so hard to be a mom! Autism seems to be in the news a lot lately. There seems to be quite a bit of new understanding of this condition. I am sure you will dive into Autism research just as you have with your work!! Hang in there. Hugs.
Amy, I have no doubt you will reach your 2008 goals!
I too am sorry to hear of your little one’s diagnosis. My son has been through a series of test and his doctor is leaning towards an Asperger’s diagnosis, on the far end of the mild scale. He has some serious sensory issues (smells, loud noises, etc.), but nothing we can tackle as a family.
My God bless you and yours in the coming year.
Amy, I am sorry to hear about your son’s diagnosis. Ataining your goals will definitely allow you to have time to devote to your children. I wish you and your family a healthy and prosperous new year.
Hi Amy,
I saw a documentary about Jenny McCarthy who goes out with Jim Carey (that mad actor). Jenny’s son was diagnosed with autism and she took him off all process foods particularly wheat products which helped considerably. She has written a book called Louder than Words and is quite an active ambassador for autism. Just thought you might be interested.
Cheers to you and your family at Xmas time.

God bless you and your family Amy. All things work together for good…
