OK I Am Going To Take The Plunge
Alright, I decided to work up the courage to switch over to my own wordpress blog. If things get really messed up for the next couple of days please bear with me. I have never done this before and cannot guarantee a smooth transition, but I will get it up and working right asap. 
Update: Just changed my DNS server to my own hosting. I am not sure how long it will take for the DNS to resolve. I cannot even get into my wordpress admin until it is over there.
Update: It has been several hours and I am still waiting on 1and1 to change my DNS settings. I am going to go to bed and see if it has switched over when I get up in the morning.

I recommend you check out the “k2″ theme for wordpress at getk2.com — I just discovered it, and it is by far the coolest ‘theme’ technology for wordpress I have ever seen. Very easy to customize.
