Not So Sure About This Month
At the beginning of the month I set a goal to make $4,000 this month, but I am afraid to say that it does not look like I am on track to meeting it.
It is the 13th and I am only up to $971.73. If I keep going at this rate I will only hit around $2,300 for the month.
What is my problem? I think for one it is a lack for organization and persistence. I will admit, I have jumped around quite a bit from one project to the next. I have a lot of partial projects I am working on, but very few actually done and marketed.
I really need to pick up the pace and streamline my time to do what tasks will help the most. I have learned quite a bit though about article directories and other content management systems. I think understanding it and putting it to use will pay off nicely in the long run.
Just giving myself a little kick in the rear to get moving faster… *wink*

Don’t worry Amy, it happens to the bet of us. I’m sure you will be able to get back on track real soon
just keep being confident! I think this will teach you a lot about what works and what doesn’t. So in the end this will be a good thing!

Just remember that. If you put your mind to $4000, you’ll get it. Don’t just lower your goal because your not exactly on pace to make it so far. Work smarter, not harder.

I don’t think it helps that Adsense seems to have also slowed down this month. Have you noticed any changes as well?

Don’t sweat it Amy, remember that that last two months you had the WSO’s to help propel you - which probably also drove traffic to some of your other ways of making money. You are building a sustainable business - so what if you miss your forcast by a few points - it will help you better forecast for next month.
You also dropped Associated Content which accounted for about 10% of income in the previous months. Are there other things you did last month that you are not doing this month?
I talk about focus on my blog, I’m convinced that I have ADHD. Just over the weekend I thought of 3 more ways to make money online…but I also have learned that I have to pace myself. Drive one thing to profitablity and then add on something new.
Keep your head up and keep pushing. You are doing great!
