Why You Need to Join BlogRush
I discovered Blog Rush today and was blown away. It is an absolute 100% free way to get free traffic and a massive amount of readers to your blog. Go and check out the video on it here.
If that doesn’t get you excited. I don’t know what will. I am adding the code to my blog right now and am excited to see the results. It was designed by John Reese, who is a very reputable internet marketer. I think he is right on the money with this.

Progress Overview

Thanks, Amy. Another thing to note is referrals trickle down up to 10 levels!
Amy:
I have been looking at BlogRush for a few days now and I am not convinced. The whole premise behind it is a link exchange - the busier your blog the more links you get on other people’s sites. The main thing that I feel is being overlooked is links on other sites does not mean more traffic - it means more links. I also doubt that these links are used by Google (or other search engines) to help with rankings as ‘normal’ inbound links do as they are created on the fly by a script not actually part of the html code of the page.
What you are left with is links on your site to five other sites with related content looking to entice that visitor away from your site to theirs.
The other issue that I see is that there is a few posts around about how the site was rushed and released before it was ready. In fact, even John Reese sent out a note to all members talking about the problems and plea to ‘bear with us’.
Yep, that can mean a lot of traffic.
Iain, I can see what you are saying. These are not considered as inbound links because they are javascript. Google doesn’t follow javascript links. Yes they do have some bugs to work out. What is nice is that the blog posts open in another window so you don’t lose your visitor.
Amy, I have more than one blog, can I change the feed/theme and thus the widget from blog to blog? I can’t seem to get an answer from Blogrush and wedding stuff may not interest people on my skincare blog etc. Do you know anything about this?
I don’t think you can change the skin, but you can change the theme. For instance, I chose marketing for mine. Choose the topic more relevant for your blog.
Hi Amy,
I received an email from John pointing me to his latest, BlogRush. Yes, it’s new, but I believe like you that this new program will evolve in time to be a great program, considering what John is capable of. It would be nice if it was html as apposed to java and I’m sure he knows that. Give it time. I will be implementing it on my blogs soon.
I have a question for you though…
when you create new sites through WhyPark do you use subdomains or do you have to use pure domain names. Using original domains can add up in cost quickly.
Thanks,
Robert
Robert, I try and go for a combination of both. I buy domains for what my budget will allow and use subdomains for the remainder.
