Work At Home Diary June 10 2007
I wanted to keep track of what I am doing on a daily basis in order to help you understand exactly what I am doing to earn money online. Plus it keeps me motivated to stay on track knowing that I am going to be sharing my daily accomplishments.
I didn’t start keeping a record until today. I am trying to get as much done this month as I can because the baby can come any day now. (I am pregnant and due on July 7th).
Today is a learning day for me. I have been listening to, reading and pretty much trying to absorb everything from the Easy Blog Traffic program. I offered this program to my blog readers so that they can learn the same techniques and use them to increase their blog traffic as well.
I changed my blog address from http://achieve-financial-independence/blogspot.com to www.mydebtfreegoal.com. This makes it much easier to type out and remember.
I got a great deal on my domain name from 1and1.com. They have domains for $5.99 a year. I then kept blogger for web hosting since it is free.
Trying to do as much as I can for as little price possible since I want to shovel all my earnings towards my debt.
I also signed up for mybloglog.com to help increase interactivity in my blog. I am not sure yet how that will turn out, but we’ll see.
I made a banner today about my blog. I thought it would be a nice thing to put as a signature for some of the forums I belong to. I am not very good with graphics so it is nothing fancy.

I also worked on another message for my newsletter. I only have a handful of subscribers so far. I have been putting a lot of work into the messages so I hope that more people will join in soon.
I am trying to strike a balance between learning more techniques and ways to make an income and working with what I have. I need to get more focused and maybe concentrate on one thing per day.
I have been somewhat of a scatter brain, been dabbling in everything from writing articles to making squidoo lenses lately.
I watched “The Secret” movie. I do agree with pretty much everything it says except for a few things. I think it can draw a man away from God by making him feel as though God is not needed.
What I took from “The Secret” is the fact that having a positive attitude, thoughts and actions are very important. I also learned that I need to determine exactly what it is I want and focus on how to achieve it.

Progress Overview

Thanks Amy for the pic of your little kids
