All About MyLot

Warning: Mylot deleted my account without notice, warning or explination. I have emailed them a couple of times trying to find out what happened and to get it resolved, but have heard nothing from them. I lost all of my earnings (which was almost $14 so far this month) along with all of my referrals. I do not recommend this company. Apparently they like to ban/delete people without reason. I would almost go as far as saying that MyLot is a scam.

The following article is what I wrote after joining them but before my account was suddenly deleted:

I discovered MyLot after being introduced to it in early May. I joined on May 4th, 2007 and started posting and responding to discussions to earn some extra money.

I quickly discovered that when I calculated my hourly rate I wasn’t making very much money. I figured that I was making an average of $0.02- $0.05 per post. I would have to post 200 discussions per hour in order to get a $6 wage.

This is why I decided that MyLot would be a side hobby for me rather than a main money maker.

The advantage about MyLot is that it is very easy and quite fun, but I cannot afford to spend all day on there or else I will never reach my financial goal.

To give you an example of my earnings, this is what I earned my first week there:

I wasn’t spending much time there, so I guess every little bit helps. I found that you get paid a bit more when you start a discussion rather than just respond to one because you also get paid a small amount for each person who responds your discussions.

MyLot also pay you for uploading photos. I did one photo and got $0.01 for it, so I don’t think it is worth the time to add photos.

I have met lots of people on MyLot who are able to consistently make an extra $20-$30 a month. The minimum payout is $10 and they pay through PayPal once a month.
