All About CashCrate

CashCrate is by far the best program I have come across. I have found it very easy to consistently make a good amount of money every single day simply by taking part in surveys and doing free offers.

I set out on a search on the internet to see what people thought of CashCrate. I don’t want to waste any of my time on something that wasn’t proven to satisfy their members over a long period of time. I was very happy to discover that they are completley legitimate and pay their members very well.

How does it work?

Companies need consumers to try and review products, services, and websites and are willing to pay money to have them do so.

CashCrate gets paid by these advertisers for our participation and they pass 75% of that money back to us. That is how they are able to stay in business and the earnings stay sustainable.

How You Get Paid

There is a minimum pay out of $10. I cannot even begin to say how easy it is to reach payout. I made over $12 in the very first few hours after I signed-up. So the $10 payout can easily be reached in less than a day’s worth of participation.

Payments are processed on the 20th of the following month. So all of my May earnings will be sent to me by check on June 20th.

What do their checks look like?

Here is my proof of payment. This is my CashCrate check from my May 2007 earnings for $1,531.07.

You Can Succeed Without Referrals

I want to stress the fact that you can make great money on CashCrate without ever getting a single referral.

One way to do this is by taking part in the $0.80 daily survey that is always available once every 24 hours. Even just doing that and nothing else will get you a guaranteed $24 extra dollars a month.

You can also make an extra $100-$200 a month just by doing the free offers and trials available in the “complete offers” section.

I hate programs where you get pressured into signing other people up in order to make money and succeed.

However, if you like to share your success and want others to participate along side of you… CashCrate does have an awesome referral system. In fact, it is one of the best I have ever seen!

CashCrate Referral Program

First of all, with CashCrate you are paid for two levels of referrals. The first level being the people that directly sign up under you. The second level is people that sign up under the people that you recruited.

So you can get paid for who ever you get to sign up and who ever they get to sign up.

As soon as you join, you start at the bronze level. This allows you to earn 20% of what your 1st level referrals earn and 10% of what your second level referrals earn.

(Don’t worry, your referrals not getting paid less. This is extra money that you get paid in addition to what they get paid.)

The rest of the referral program tiers work like this:
Bronze – 0 Active Referrals – 20% First Level, 10% Second Level
Silver – 50 Active Referrals – 25% First Level, 10% Second Level
Gold – 150 Active Referrals – 25% First Level, 15% Second Level
Platinum – 300 Active Referrals – 30% First Level, 15% Second Level
Elite – 500 Active Referrals – 30% First Level, 20% Second Level

You will also get a $1.00 bonus for every active referral from the United States who completes their first offer.

I compared this referral program to the other GPT (Get Paid To) sites out there and CashCrate is the highest paying by far.

If you do decide to sign up for CashCrate, I ask that you please use my link. This will help me to reach my financial goal more quickly and get out of debt. It will also allow me to help you each step of the way on your journey to success in using CashCrate.

My goal is to reach Silver level by the end of May 2007.

Who Can Join?

Pretty much anyone can join. Even people from various other countries. Do keep in mind though, that people who are from English speaking countries will have a lot more offers and surveys available to them than those from other countries.

This is because advertisers usually want information and participation from people in the countries they sell their products in.

If you are from a non-english speaking country, there is still hope for you. There have been many successful people from other countries because they make money by getting referrals that live in english speaking countries signed up under them. So there is still a way to make CashCrate work for you if you are really interested.

Is this the type of program where you don’t get paid unless you sign up for the products you are being surveyed about? I signed up for a program that I thought was for taking surveys and getting paid, but it turns out that you would only get paid if you signed up for the service they are asking about. For example, they wanted to know what you thought about Blockbuster.com but you only got paid if you actually signed up for 3 months of Blockbuster.com service.

  2. Amy Bass on May 14th, 2007

No, I have not signed up for any service at all. There are plenty of ways to make money on there without doing any trial offers at all. You can just do the 100% free stuff and the surveys if you want and still make great money.
I would definetly not recommend this program if you had to sign up for stuff and pay money to make money. This is actually why I use so few programs, because most of them out there are how you described.

    Hi!

Can I suggest that you put your referral code in the large referral banner that’s about mid-way on your page?

I clicked on it to sign up, then realized that there was no affiliate ID # in it. Came back to see if there was another link and all I found was a text link further down. You may be losing some $$$ by that.

    Thanks for the info!

I read your blog after linking from Dave Ramsey forum and signed up under you…

i signed up for cashcrate and have done some surveys. A lot of them didn’t go through yet. Do you have any advise. I did do some of the daily surveys and those were credited and a few others were also. Also do you get a lot of email after doing surveys. If so do you read them or just delete them. I got a few that said something about cash advances and got a little scared. Thanks for your advise and good luck with your debt snowball!

  6. Tina on May 29th, 2007

Thanks for the tip! Your whole blog is very informative and helpful. I signed up for cashcrate under you and I have $13.50 so far. But I am having a very tough time getting referrals. I joined getref.com, but no one is signing up over there. I have one referral, but he’s international and thus not able to do most of the offers. Do you have any ideas on how to gain more referrals? Thanks!

  7. Amy Bass on May 29th, 2007

To make sure you get credit for your offers, clean your cookies and use a different email address each time (read the tips I wrote above to find out more).

As for getting referrals, I will have to write a whole post on that topic because I get asked this quite often. Stay tuned for one soon…

  8. Anonymous on June 1st, 2007

Hi Amy, love your blog/post. I also checked out crashcrate. I’m wondering about how much time do you spend there to earn $1500 in a month and how much did it cost, or are you doing the free offers only?

  9. Amy Bass on June 1st, 2007

I spend 2 hours or so a day. You can spend less if you have more referrals. They always help out quite a bit. =)

  10. Anonymous on June 4th, 2007

is there any surveys that i can do that i dont have to register for something

  11. Amy Bass on June 4th, 2007

Yes there are a lot of 100% free offers that don’t require a credit card or require you to sign up for anything. =)

  12. Anonymous on June 5th, 2007

How do you do the daily survey for 0.80 that you mnetioned on cashcrate? I have not been able to find it on there?

  13. Amy Bass on June 5th, 2007

I think the daily survey may only be available to US residents. I will find out for sure.

  14. Anonymous on June 10th, 2007

    Hello Amy,

I have clicked on several of the links for CashCrate but when the window opens, none of them have a referral code which would suggest that you are getting the credit.

Would you please provide your referral link?

    thanx,
    Stephen

  15. Amy Bass on June 10th, 2007

All of the links to cashcrate on this page are my referral link. It should have my referral number in the link, which is 222828.
I will get credit even though it doesn’t show up with my name or anything when you sign up.
    Thanks =) Amy

  16. Kevin on June 10th, 2007

    Hi Amy

I to signed up with your link and have already made a couple of bucks. I might have to sit my wife in front of the computer and tell her she can do it for 8 hours, or until she gets a job…LOL

    Hi Amy,
I think CashCrate sounds great, and you’ve got a lot of useful info on your blog, so thanks for that. I was wondering how much CashCrate contacts you other than sending the check. Do they have updates a lot, or just every now and then? Also, I’d like to know how much they use your phone number.
    Thanks!
    Josh

  18. Amy Bass on June 12th, 2007

    Josh,
CashCrate wont call you or contact you unless you contact them first asking them to contact you back. They wont use your contact info for anything. Thanks, Amy

    Hey Amy,

I am so very happy that I stumbled across your post on DTM. In 3 days, I have earned $70.00.

Please forgive the skepticism but it will be hard to believe until I actually receive my first check in mid-July.

    Here’s to it!!!

  20. 312048 on June 13th, 2007

Could you do the same trial offer such as the EBAY one over and over if you use different unique emails each time?

  21. Amy Bass on June 13th, 2007

I can’t answer that ebay offer question. I would suggest asking it in the cashcrate forums and see what they say.

  22. Tony on June 13th, 2007

    Hey Amy,
I’m impressed with your determination on getting out of debt. I’m a member of the TMMO. I’m also a FPU Coordinator about to start my second class next week. Can you explain the gmail email accounts a little more???
Thanks for setting the example for all of us!!!

    Tony

  23. Amy Bass on June 13th, 2007

Tony, I actually use 2prong now because it is so much easier. However, with gmail you can put a dot anywhere in an email address and it will still come to your inbox. For example vegangoddess22@gmail.com is the same as v.egangoddess22@gmail.com or ve.gangoddess22@gmail.com
    Hope that helps. Amy

  24. Anonymous on June 18th, 2007

    Hello Amy,

Hope all is going well with the late term.

I started using 2prong today as well and a thought occurred to me…When we do the surveys are there times that we need to activate the survey via the intro email that they send for us to get the credit from CC?

    thanx,
    Stephen

  25. Amy Bass on June 18th, 2007

When you use an email from 2prong the inbox is there on the page. If an activation email comes it will show up immediately after doing the offer and you can confirm what you need to confirm before moving on.

  26. Anonymous on June 19th, 2007

  27. JulieNMM on June 21st, 2007

Have you received a check yet from CashCrate? I’m still waiting for mine from May…

  28. Amy Bass on June 21st, 2007

I am expecting it to be in my mailbox today or tomorrow. I will post it up as soon as it arrives. =)

  29. vanilla and roses on June 29th, 2007

Love, love, love your blog and I am appreciate it.
Buuuuuut I need help. I signed up for Cash Crate and Fairtale… I have done 40.00 in work but have only seen a 1/4 of the work that i have done been credited to me. I have only worked for two days.
I signed up for 2 prong and ccleaner (saved the site’s cookies and closed browser before cleaning). The only questionable thing is….keeping windows media open (audio tapes) and using a different address for offers than I signed up with the sight. Also my e-mail address is 2-prong. I use g-mail if I think they will need to confirm.
    Heeelp, please.

  30. Robin on July 3rd, 2007

Congrats on your new little one! A question about using the disposable 2prong email address and cleaning out your cookies- how does the sponsor then verify that you’ve completed the offer?

  31. Amy Bass on July 3rd, 2007

You clean the cookies right after you submit the offer to cashcrate. They read the cookies when you submit so you can delete them right afterwards.

  32. Robin on July 3rd, 2007

    Thanks!

  33. Marianne on July 4th, 2007

How much money could i make without getting a single referall and with doing any credit card offers? and what is the best way to get referalls

  35. Amy Bass on July 8th, 2007

I am guessing around $200. I talk about all the different ways you can get referrals in my newsletter. I highly recommend you sign up for it. :)

  36. Leland on July 9th, 2007

i just signed up for this site and i have like $20 dollars confirmed, and about $25 still pending. What exactly did you do to make over a grand? Also, i went a made a new gmail account, Goldenkid210@gmail.com, but what do u mean by putting dots to make more than one email? can u give me some examples please

  37. Amy Bass on July 9th, 2007

Leland, You can do G.oldenkid210@gmail.com, Go.ldenkid210@gmail.com, Gol.denkid210@gmail.com,Gold.enkid210@gmail.com, etc… all with the same email address and it will go to your same inbox.

  38. The Insane Writer on July 16th, 2007

How are you able to make money with this while signing up for offers? Most offers that use sites like crashcrate want you to spend money (sign up for a book program, credit cards, etc.) How are you able to keep from getting back into debt this way? Or do you just use the referral program? I think it is great btw, that you have a goal of paying off debt in 2 years. That is something I want to do! You are actually an inspiration to me!!! Thank You!

  39. Amy Bass on July 16th, 2007

Personally, I stick to the free offers. :)

  40. Dana on August 1st, 2007

Hi, thanks so much for the advice. I love your blog

  41. vegan3 on August 3rd, 2007

Amy, I signed up with Cashcrate but had some concerns that you didn’t seem to be experiencing. First, it seems as if they are simply asking for my contact information; then when I continue the “survey,” it merely forces me to choose which information I would like to receive from which offer. These don’t seem very survey-ish to me. It seems like I’m just giving my contact information away so people can contact me to receive junk mail. Do you have any thoughts about this?

Secondly, many of the surveys ask the same questions – the same invites for the offers of information to which I referred to above.

I actually did one survey not on CashCrate that actually seemed like a “real” survey.

I want to continue to do this but…
any light you may shed would certainly be appreciated!

  42. Amy Bass on August 3rd, 2007

Vegan, You can click “no” on all those things they try to get you to sign up for. If you get to a page that “forces” you to sign up for one then you know you are finished and you can simply close it out and submit it.

  43. Anonymous on August 3rd, 2007

How many refferals do you have and how much have you made from them?

  44. Amy Bass on August 3rd, 2007

90% of my cashcrate income is coming from referrals.

  45. littleliving on August 4th, 2007

    Amy,

I signed up for Cashcrate a couple of days ago. I was wondering if you have experience with the same issues I have been having. Each “survey” appears merely a way to collect my information in order to send me ads. My e-mail box is filled entirely with spam now.

Thank you for any input you may provide.

  46. Amy Bass on August 4th, 2007

This is why it is best if you use an alternate email address when you do the offers and surveys. :)

  47. littleliving on August 5th, 2007

But I thought you said that when you met with CashCrate they said it’s important to use your actual e-mail…

    Thanks for your response :)

  48. Amy Bass on August 5th, 2007

You use a real email address, but you don’t need to use your main email address. :)

I was just thinking of starting a blog similar to what you’ve got because I’ve got so much debt and my fiance and I need a car so badly. Anybody wanting to know how to get referrals, take a step back, scroll to the top of this post, read it…Wait! What was it that you did as you were reading it? You click on one of the links for CashCrate? I know I did. And guess what, this is a popular blog. Imagine how many other people did the same thing that you did. I’m not saying steal her post. I’m saying mess around with the program until you make some money, write a blog, not a blog like mine, my blog is lame, write an interesting blog with a lot of posts, then post about cash crate, make it interesting, add a few links and viola! You have referrals. See, this Amy girl is smart, she got you to sign up and you didn’t even know it, but she’s making money off of you. With that being said, If you haven’t joined, I encourage you to do so. Help her out, look at how far in debt she is! You sat down and read her entire blog, help her out!

  57. Judy on September 6th, 2007

    Hi Amy,
I signed up for this but the only thing I am confused about is the survey. You mentioned it is a guaranteed way to make $24 per month but I don’t seem to qualify for any (one I did start but it asked questions about my “company” and I don’t work outside the home so I didn’t finish it). Just wondering if I am missing something.
    Thanks,

  65. sladki22 on October 7th, 2007

Hi! This is sladki22. I came across your blog when I typed in cashcrate review in Yahoo and the first result was a link to your blog, a cool blog you have btw. I guess you’re getting some traffic from Yahoo… Not bad eh?

Anyway, my question is could you be making money just by referring other people to join under you? I mean without having to complete surveys or free trials… Like, if all you ever did was introduce people to join under you and get paid for their work

Is this possible or do you have to complete at least one survey a month or some kind?

    Thx,

P.S. I have a blog of my own, it’s still quite new and I am working on it. Would you please please check it out at http://londonweekly.blogspot.com and tell me what I need to improve on. Thx again, sladki22

Hi Amy, thanks so much for all the info! When registering for CashCrate, are we required to give our social security number? Is the check better and/or safer than PayPal? Thanks!!

Hi. I’ve been trying to get Cashcrate’s site for over a month and can’t get it to work. I thought I’d ask here…been googling to see if they closed down, but haven’t found anyone else having the problem, except for Jim’s post here.

It simply wont load. I’ve emptied cache, etc and been trying several times over the past month. Anyone know anything?

    Hello,

I just came across your website (blog).

I work for a finance company, however we also offer our site visitors articles and news stories.

I am interested in buying some ad space, how much would this cost?

    Kind regards,

    Feben

    Aloha Amy:

Your success is the very reason why I joined CashCrate! It would be great to achieve just half your success and that is why I was interested in your “Get Paid To: Make Passive Income” report. Is the recruiting you mention online recruiting or off line recruiting? If you could Private Message me at the email given that would be great. Thanks for being an inspiration to us newbies!

Can i tell im from usa to get more offers in the sign in page? or i will get baned or something?

  96. Dante on July 18th, 2009

    Hey there :)
I noticed that a lot of the free offers ask for your phone number and address. I’m really afraid that they will send me spam, or even send me a bill for something. I’m also afraid that they will spam my phone. Should I be worried? Have they done any of this to you?
    Thanks in advance :)
