Squidoo Experiment – Week 6
I have now been working full-time on Squidoo for 6 weeks. While it is not very high paying, it was still a lot of fun. Here are my stats for this week compared to last week.

I saw a huge jump both in traffic and earnings from my Squidoo experiment this week. I noticed that going for keywords that don’t have any other Squidoo lenses targeting the same phrase works best. I do go for some phrases that have 1 competitor if that lens has very little unique content on it and I know I can do a better job.
I have been working on Squidoo for almost a month now. Every week I am seeing steady progress, which gives me a lot of hope for the next few weeks. Let’s take a look at the stats:
I just finished up the 3rd week of my Squidoo Experiment. Sadly I didn’t earn a single penny from my lenses during the past week. I am not giving up, I made a goal to keep making them until I hit $1,000 a month so I will keep going until I hit a $250 week for two weeks in a row.
I have been doing my Squidoo experiment for 2 weeks now. I am starting to see some rewards for my efforts and I am excited to see what week 3 brings me. Let’s take a look at all the stats:
Today is the 7th day of my $1,000 a Month Squidoo Experiment. I started out on Monday June 18, 2012 with a goal to build a $1,000 a month revenue stream from Amazon affiliate sales through Squidoo. I have made quite a few lenses this past week, but haven’t gotten any traffic (visitors) or made any sales yet.
I have never really been serious about Squidoo before. So on Monday June 18th I decided to start my own Squidoo experiment. I am making at least 1-2 really high-quality 100% unique Squidoo lenses every day. On most days I can build 3 new lenses.
I have a lot of fun earning extra money for my writing, especially when I can add an RSS feed to my blog in my articles. I began writing for Wizzley because they have very stringent quality control making their site higher quality than most. You earn 50%-60% of the ad impressions depending on how many articles you have published.
I love that you can choose different modules and really customize your pages which makes creating a beautiful page a lot of fun. Since you put all your affiliate IDs into your settings you can simply add the modules and earn money every month!

Our 6th child, Seth, was born on April 5th. He was 6 lbs 12 ounces. I had a homebirth with this one like I did with our 5th child. We now have 5 boys and 1 girl. My poor daughter has no sisters.
Sometimes I just feel like writing a random article that has nothing to do with my other blogs. Not every topic is worthy of an entire blog and sometimes I only have a fleeting interest in something. This is a great opportunity to post that article on a revenue sharing website.
